CBM calculator
Enter pallet or box dimensions and quantity to get the volume in cubic metres (CBM) plus an estimated volumetric weight.
Volume
0.96m³
≈ 320 kg volumetric weight (333 kg/m³ road)
Estimate only - not a quote.
How it works
CBM (cubic metre) is shipment volume. Formula: length × width × height (in metres) × quantity. Carriers use CBM to judge how much space a load takes and compare it against actual weight (volumetric weight = CBM × 333 kg for road).
FAQ
- How do I calculate CBM?
- Convert length, width and height to metres, multiply them, then multiply by quantity. e.g. 120 × 80 × 100 cm = 1.2 × 0.8 × 1.0 = 0.96 m³.
- How many CBM fit in a curtainsider?
- A standard 13.6 m curtainsider holds roughly 90 m³ of cargo.
