The problem we couldn’t ignore

Every growing business hits the same wall. Customers reach out on Telegram, WhatsApp, Email, Instagram — and each channel lives in its own silo. Your support team has five browser tabs open. Your sales rep missed a WhatsApp follow-up because the notification got buried. A lead went cold because nobody realized the same person emailed and messaged on Telegram. We lived this problem ourselves while running outreach campaigns across multiple channels. Context was scattered, response times suffered, and deals slipped through the cracks.

Why existing tools fall short

We tried the obvious solutions. Intercom is great for website chat but doesn’t natively support Telegram or WhatsApp. Zendesk turns every conversation into a ticket — fine for support, terrible for sales. Crisp covers some channels but has no CRM. HubSpot has a CRM but bolts messaging on as an afterthought. Every tool we tried forced us to choose between messaging coverage, CRM depth, and AI capabilities. None offered all three in a single workspace.

Our approach: unified from day one

Umera isn’t a chat widget with a CRM bolted on. It’s a unified workspace where messaging, contacts, deals, and AI agents are built into the same data model. When a message arrives from any channel, Umera auto-creates or matches a contact, logs the interaction, and makes it searchable across your entire team. AI agents can read the full conversation history — across channels — before suggesting a reply or moving a deal stage.

What we’re building first

Our MVP launches with Telegram, WhatsApp, and Email — the three channels where most B2B and D2C conversations happen. From day one you get a unified inbox, contact management, deal pipelines, and AI-powered reply suggestions. In Q2 we’re adding custom fields, activity logging, and team workspaces. By Q3, autonomous AI agents that can handle full sales and support workflows. Instagram, Facebook, and X arrive in Q4.
