Umera will never use your messages, contacts, or deals to train AI models. Your data is yours — full stop. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. API keys and channel credentials are stored in isolated vaults with per-workspace encryption keys. We designed the architecture so that even our own engineers cannot read your conversations.
Workspace isolation
Every workspace in Umera is a fully isolated data environment. Contacts, conversations, deals, and settings in one workspace are invisible to other workspaces — even if the same user belongs to both. This makes Umera ideal for agencies managing multiple clients, consultancies with separate engagement teams, or companies with strict departmental data boundaries.
GDPR-ready from launch
Umera is built with GDPR compliance as a design requirement, not a retrofit. Users can export all their data at any time. Contact deletion is permanent and cascading — removing a contact removes all associated messages, notes, and activities. Data processing agreements are available for all paid plans. We store data in EU-based infrastructure with SOC 2 certification in progress.
